She was the most beautiful woman of the world in the year 2000 as she won the Miss World title. The gorgeously beautiful Priyanka Chopra brought this proud moment to India almost nine years back.
Sensibly beautiful Priyanka started her career in acting right after winning the title. Tamil movie ‘Thamizhan’ (2002) was her first film as an actress. She got her big break in Bollywood in 2002 in ‘Andaaz’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
She won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for this film. After that, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Aitraaz (2004), Krrish (2006) and Don (2006) were the big hits of her. And after that even before someone could understand, Priyanka became the celebrity face of new age Bollywood.
Her few film in 2005 and 2008 went flop but that couldn’t stop her from becoming the top most actress in Bollywood. Her fashion and Dostana have been the recent box-office hits. She even won the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Fashion in 2009.We’ll be watching her in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next ‘KAMINEY’ opposite Shahid Kapoor.
