When it comes to new styles and trends this century, it can sometimes be difficult to determine which fashionable styles are right for your body. You may completely rule out certain looks because you are worried a particular style will not suit you. It is important to have diversity in your closet and therefore, ruling out entire chapters within the glamorous women fashion book is not a recommended idea. Try to have a little bit of everything. Experiment with different clothing styles and then you can more fully come to love yourself and the clothes you wear and feel completely confident in your choice of apparel.
According to Brittany Brown, a 21-year-old trusted fashion consultant for her friends, "Variety is key." Brown believes that no matter what style you are going for, it is important to not get stuck in one particular look. Although one certain style may seem too "out there" for an individual, it is important to remember each fashion style can be adjusted to fit each person and become a look as distinct as the man or woman wearing it! Owning too many items of one color or cut will limit your look. When you look in your closet, do you see a lot of a particular color or a ton of the same thing, like t-shirts or polo's? A majority of women have several different cuts of black blouses perhaps it is because black is known for its slimming effects. Regardless of slimming features or not, we should all try to embrace many different styles, colors and cuts of clothing. Having diversity in your wardrobe allows you to come up with new looks daily.
Brown also believes that people need to like who they are and what they wear. "We all have favorite articles of clothing that we wear more than others. This is because we like the way they fit and look," she said. But liking yourself and what you wear should not be applied to items of clothing in the sweats category. Liking who you are in what you wear means feeling spectacular and special in what you adorn. The clothes that fit awkwardly or constantly need adjusting do not often become our favorites. So when shopping, make sure to take a stop in the dressing room and try things on. If something about the way the item fits bothers you, don't buy it! Do not get sucked into buying something and thinking you can change it or your body to make it work. It is easier to find a women dresses that fits your body appropriately now than buying an item for the future. It is never a good idea to buy a pair of jeans for motivational reasons. Many people keep items of clothes in their closet that serve as constant reminders that "I'll look so good in that when I've dropped just 5 little pounds."
Have you ever thought, "This just isn't me," when it comes to a certain outfit? You are not alone. Brittany Brown has heard many people say this, followed by, "I really like this particular style, but I could never pull it off." Her opinion on this matter is that if you like something it is you'r at least a part of you. Clothes are one of the most observable ways to express your unique personality to others. If you like a style or article of clothing it is because it speaks to some part of you. You can be any style you want as long as you do it with confidence.
If you are considering trying a new style of dress, try it! You never know, you may give it a try, find you like it, feel confident and comfortable about yourself in it, and then that particular style will become you! Your confidence will convince others that it is who you are and over time, you will probably find many other styles that you can embrace and that will become part of you as well. And who knows, maybe you will inspire your friends to be a little bolder and braver in the future with their fashion as well.

Teen Models Picture Galleries And Beauty Secrets
I don't want to discourage you, but, as the saying goes, for every successful model, there's a city full of shattered dreams. Or something pretty close to that.
Despite TV competitions that do turn the teen models girl next door into the next Tyra, very few really do make it into the elite ranks of those who make a living jetting off to far-flung beach locales and earning loads of money based on their looks.
If you're still reading, then you've got the right attitude or at least the confidence to forge ahead and, because of that, I say go for it!
Before you even start, though, recognize that models come in a range of categories. And while times have changed, and the dangerous drugging and dieting secrets of many successful supermodels have been exposed, you're still facing some pretty strict standards.
What I mean is commercial fashion modeling still requires tall, uber-thin talent. (The designers on Project Runway may come in all shapes or sizes, but take a look at the models. See what I mean?)
Editorial fashion modeling is another story. Here, figures don't have to be whippet-thin and features can be pretty, rather than stunning, as preferred for commercial fashion. If you work in this category, your assignments will be more focused on magazines and picture galleries cataloges. You'll be representing more of a healthy every-woman (think Self magazine), rather than the exotic embodiment of a designer's vision.
Unless you've got a special hook up (say you go to the same Starbucks where Heidi Klum gets her non-fat latte) you'll have to start by wrangling your own training and jobs. If you do know someone in the business, interview her and get the lowdown.
Be wary of modeling schools that promise to provide you jobs in exchange for expensive classes that will teach you how to dress women jeans, walk and pose. These are essential skills, but legitimate modeling agencies usually will invest in you or at least help you if they sincerely believe you have potential. If you know a fashion photographer also looking to boost her or his career, ask to work together to build your beauty secrets portfolio and you'll both benefit. (Beware, again, of the vast array of disreputable folks who will over-promise and exploit. Rely on personal connections, or approach a photo school for recommendations on talented shooters).
Check with local agencies to find out when they have go-sees. These are sessions in which they review and critique aspiring models. Even if you don't get a job, you'll get valuable feedback. (Though also be skeptical of advice to get extensive plastic surgery. Remember: The after appearances of the women on Extreme Makeover look more like beauty pageant rejects than models.)
If you're still undeterred, try working with event planners and public relations firms. Part of their duties in creating successful events is casting the right (aka attractive) crowd members. And that could be you!

Searching For Swim wear Model
They came from all over America -- from all over the world, in fact -- for a shot at stardom.
On a chilly and rainy Saturday morning outside the W Hotel on North Lake Shore Drive, hundreds of aspiring models -- lithe and leggy, blond and buxom, Asian, black, Hispanic and white -- stood shivering in a line that began at the W's entrance and snaked its way far down Erie.
The first-ever Victoria's Secret search model had come to Chicago, its last stop on a four-city open casting call tour, and these women were determined to be the next Giselle Bundchen or Heidi Klum or Tyra Banks, each of whom got her start strutting down runways in lingerie as a Victoria's Secret Angel.
Statuesque Chicagoan Jade Newton, 25, longed to be in their company.
"I've always loved the Victoria's Secret fashion show," said Newton from beneath her red umbrella. "I was always telling my mom, 'One day I'm gonna be on that runway. I don't care if I fall on the runway, I'm going to be on the runway.' And then I got an e-mail that they were having the search model , so I just made plans to be here this morning. I didn't know it was going to be this crazy. But you never know what kind of doors it could open. And even if they don't pick me, at least I went out for it."
On Nov. 4, 10 lucky ladies from the casting call will be singled out and sent to a boot camp in New York, where Angels will school them in media, runway, red carpet and photo shoot skills. Their adventures will be captured on camera for Webisodes, and the public will vote on which actresses appears on CBS Dec. 1 during the Victoria's Secret fashion show.About 9:20 a.m., the Great Model Migration began. Waves of women were guided through the lobby and into nearby Workroom 1, where gentle but extremely discerning judges John Pfeiffer (Victoria's Secret casting director) and Kannon Rajah (his assistant) stood behind a white tape line and eyeballed the contestants solely based on looks and charisma. Based on what he'd seen in Round One, Rajah quietly admitted afterward that maybe one had the right stuff to compete in a final showdown.
Few words were uttered as the aspirants sauntered past, doing their best to look oh-so-sexy in high heels, cleavage-baring dresses and barely there miniskirts while schlepping coats, bags and umbrellas. A handful were given pink wristbands and ushered off to one side. They'd made the first cut."I think initially you're looking at body proportion, height [minimum requirement was 5-foot-8] -- really basic things," Pfeiffer said. "We're not even talking to them at this point to get a sense if they have personality or what they can bring in addition to beauty and fashion."
College student Monica Klymer, 18, of Fort Collins, Colo was only the second one to snag a wristband. She'd received an e-mail about the contest and immediately booked a flight.
"This is a huge opportunity," Klymer said. "You have nothing to lose."
Shannon Prior, 19, of Columbus, Ohio, waited in line almost three hours before making her big entrance. She failed to make the grade, and was promptly shuffled through a side door -- literally kicked out into the cold -- by a no-nonsense security guard who didn't abide loitering. She was disappointed, but "you try your best."
Most of the ladies who showed up eager to showcase themselves followed Prior's lead.
Nearly 30, however, got to hang tight for Round Two -- in which they donned teeny-weeny bikinis and once again flaunted their assets before Pfeiffer and Rajah in a small upstairs space. "Just be open with us," Pfeiffer told them. "Give us your best walk, give us your best smile and let your personalities shine through, all right? Have fun, guys." Simon Cowell, he ain't.In addition to an array of multicolored and bejeweled swim wear suits, all wore high heels and thigh-length light blue, leopard-print or pink silk robes. Some had tattoos. At least one sported a navel piercing. Seated in long rows of chairs, they were called one by one to the judges' table for a more intimate introduction and examination.
"It's amazing, when you see actresses in their swim wear, how few women really have perfect proportions," said Monica Mitro, executive vice president of public relations for Victoria's Secret and the executive producer of the fashion show. "When they're in their underwear and they're on the runway and they're seen by literally millions of people, they have to have a perfect body. Because they don't know what they're going to end up wearing, but everything will be seen. With photographs you can retouch and fix things, and when it's live in person they have to be in really great shape."
After Round Two, as her fellow contestants headed off to lunch, 26-year-old April Rose of Chicago -- a actrehospital crisis counselor and an online interviewer for Maxim magazine (she was the publication's Hometown Hotties national winner for 2008) -- talked about the experience.
"It's fun. It's not like I'm digging ditches and having to do manual labor. You're just walking down the aisle. It's a little nerve-racking because you're wearing a bikini and the air conditioning's blasting and you've got a bunch of beauty girls looking at you, but other than that it's been fun, it's been very easy so far."
Her ultimate goal, she joked, was to "make it to the top 10 and then give every other a girl a black eye and then make it to the final [round]." In the end, though, only one Chicago area contestant -- Peotone resident Ashley Novak, 20 -- wound up on the list of nine finalists. Come Nov. 4, she could be on her way to New York and, ultimately, international renown.

German Magazine Swaps Thin models For Real Women
Germany's most popular women's magazine announced Monday that it is banning professional models from its pages in favor of "real women" in an attempt to combat an unhealthy standard of rail-thin beauty that it says has isolated its readers.
The editor-in-chief of Germany's bimonthly Brigitte told reporters that, starting next year, the magazine will feature a mix of prominent women and regular readers in photo spreads for everything from skin care beauty to fashion to fitness. Andreas Lebert said the move is a response to readers increasingly saying that they are tired of seeing "protruding bones" from models who weigh far less than the average woman.
"We will show women who have an identity the 18-year-old student, the head of the board, the musician, the football player," Andreas Leberts said in Hamburg, where the magazine, published by Gruner+Jahr, is based.Fashion centers around the world have begun trying in recent years to combat the size 0 look that has come to dominate the fashion industry, contributing, some experts say, to eating disorders and poor body image. In 2004, the Dove skin care beauty products company launched its own "Campaign for Real Beauty" that included print and billboard ads showing "real women," of all shapes and sizes, posing in their underwear.
In 2007, the U.S. Council of Fashion of Designers of America issued voluntary guidelines to curb the use of overly thin models. You can tell kids, "Love yourself just the way you are," all you want, but when you show up on air with a different weave every episode and dedicate countless segments to beauty products that will help prevent wrinkles by smearing placenta on your face, you're kind of sending mixed signals.
"Sometimes, children, your natural beauty products is a gift you should cherish and worship just the way it is, but sometimes it's a beast you should beat in line when it starts to deviate from the picturesque ideal you have in your head."
Fashion officials in Madrid set a minimum body-mass index, and those in Milan tightened restrictions. Efforts gained urgency after 21-year-old Brazilian search model Ana Carolina Reston died of anorexia in November 2006, weighing 88 pounds (40 kilos). On its Web site, Brigitte announced to readers that "A New Epoch has Begun" and women to submit a portrait and full-body photos of themselves to considered for a photo shoot.
Jessica Heidari, 21, was also enviably fit. Having worked as a traditional model in the past, she read about the search in Shape magazine and decided to give fitness modeling a try. We could certainly see her striking a pose for a line of athletic clothing or nutritional drinks a couple of the potential employers in this category.
Acosta also pointed out that many mainstream advertisers like car companies are looking to fitness models these days to target certain health-and-wellness minded demographics.
"We will pay the same fee as we would for professional models," Lebert said, adding that the magazine views the move as an investment.Last Saturday, Gold’s Gym in Plano was taken over for the day by a team from New York on the prowl for the next top fitness modeling in the modeling.
Lebert said his magazine's move "should not be understood as a declaration of war on the modeling profession."
"We are not going to become a magazine for plus-sizes," he said.
Brigitte has suffered a steady drop in readers over the past 20 years but, with more than 719,000 copies sold per issue, it remains Germany's most-read women's magazine.
Louisa von Minckwitz, who owns the German-based Louisa Models agency, told The Associated Press she believed the ban on search model was a marketing gag that would not last for long.
"Women want to see clothes on a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing person," von Minckwitz said.

Famous Actresses And Modeling Agencies
In a conversation that touches on bestiality, the Smurfs, and giant tap-dancing hypodermic needles, the funniest thing Ryan Landry says is this I don’t do minimalism. Landry, of course, is the cofounder and main force of nature behind the Gold Dust Orphans Theatrical Company. He has written and starred in Gold Dust productions ranging from Medea to the Christmas production Silent Night of the Lambs. The Orphans’ latest over-the-top spectacular, bowing tonight, is Valet of the Dolls.’’ It’s a takeoff of the 1967 the Valley of the Dolls’’ film starring Barbara Parkins and Sharon Tate and based on Jacqueline Susann’s trashy novel.
In the show, the guy that runs the ad modeling agencies in the original film now owns a string of 500,000 parking garages nationwide, and the main character, Anne Welles, who becomes a model in the original, becomes a world-famous valet, sort of like the Ronald McDonald for parking garages, only a beautiful lady, not a clown,’’ Landry says in his usual rapid-fire delivery.
The movie, about three young women clawing their way to the top in show business and paying a terrible price, struck Landry much like Grey Gardens,’’ he says. First time you see it, it’s ‘Oh, how sad,’ and then about the third time I saw it, I said ‘Oh, how wonderful.’ ’’
There’s also the story of the actors in the movie: What happened to Sharon Tate was sad, a tragedy [she was murdered in 1969 by Charles Manson followers], it’s horrible. But on the DVD [commentary] you hear people say Sharon Tate was actually a pretty good actress. Well, no, she wasn’t, she was terrible, and we play that in our show.’’Company helps aspiring models and fashion models present their portfolios to modeling agencies and scouts from around the world.
As usual with the Orphans, it’s a drag-intensive production, starring Afrodite as Anne Welles, Penny Champayne as Jennifer North, Liza Lott as Neely O’ Hara, and introducing Ryan Landry as Miss Helen Lawson. And there’s music and dancing, this time to karaoke tracks, at one point featuring tap-dancing syringes and pill bottles. Also as usual with the Orphans, the humor is gonzo times three. An unfaithful husband in the original is caught having an affair with a canine here. Also all photos taken for my online gallery and exhibition work the model will be required to sign a model release allowing me to openly show them.
Landry: People and famous actresses were shocked by [infidelity and homosexuality] back then, but necrophilia doesn’t even get a rise out of people these days - except a necrophiliac, I suppose! So you have to up the stakes, but of course everything’s on a sort of ridiculous level.’’Upping the stakes hasn’t deterred critics and theatergoers alike from loving the Orphans.
We’ve started doing season passes for the first time, Landry said. I guess we’re behind the times. We don’t have a big team of fund-raisers and press people. I’m in charge. It’s like ‘Make Way for Ducklings’ and I’m the big fat one in front. So we put out this thing for season passes, and I thought we’d sell like, four or five, and we’ve already sold over 100. That tells me we’ve got a real fan base.’’
He says the audience for the troupe, founded in 1995, is not even 50 percent gay anymore, more like 30 percent gay and 70 percent straight, which is really funny because they all have to go to the basement of a gay leather bar to see us.’’ Technically, the Orphans and famous actresses put on their shows in the basement club Machine, which is in the same building as that leather bar.The straight people who are not used to our stuff are scared at first, then I think they get a kick out of how edgy it is, and the straight people who are cool don’t even think about it, they just come to see us,’’ he says.
Moreover, audiences have become conditioned to the Orphans’ outrageousness, he says, much the way that fans become acclimated to the off-kilter world of the Smurfs or Kukla, Fran and Ollie.Things we do with the space are more surprising than the subject matter,’’ he says. That’s where the surprises come now, they don’t come in giant [genitalia] jokes, that’s all just part of our bizarro Smurf world. That’s a given.’’A Beautiful Model and Wedding Dresses: Getting a beautiful tall fashion model to show these wedding dresses will make your dream come true.
Landry’s future includes making a movie and writing other types of projects, he hopes. But for the immediate moment, more shows like Valet of the Dolls’’ are uppermost in his mind. All About Christmas Eve’’ and Phantom of the Oprah’’ are next on the schedule. Are you looking for some inside information on why models are wearing little black dresses nowadays? Sexy dresses are in style and black is the color of choice for most fashion models.
I’ve got to get all these things out of my head,’’ he says. They’re all up in my mind and I’ve got to get them out, because I can’t sleep at night. My mind’s always going, so until we finish these off, it’s like, ‘You can’t invite friends over until you clean your room!’Find modeling job for male female model from model agency and modeling photographer. Modeling Agency For Models
Katie Ford travelled all over the world searching for beautiful young women to cast in her modeling agencies for models. Now she goes around the world searching for children, women and men to save them from slavery.
After Katie Ford gave up the chairmanship of modeling giant Ford Models in 2007, she made plans to pursue her interest in promoting the culture of indigenous peoples. But when a United Nations representative approached her to talk against human trafficking, Ford was compelled to chart a different future.
Two years ago, I did not know that there was slavery," she recalled. "I was shocked. There are 27 million slaves in the world today --- 27 million, it’s mind boggling!" she exclaimed.I’m not talking about cheap labor. I’m talking not free to come and go, not earning money that they were promised and frequently being beaten up and threatened so that they don’t leave their situation. It’s like old time slavery. It exists everywhere," said Ford, who has made it her primary mission to spread awareness on how to end the slave trade.
The legendary trend-setter in the modeling agencies flew in Monday to judge the Supermodel of the World pageant for the Philippine Fashion Week, which runs from October 21 to 28 at the Mall of Asia. The winner of the pageant will represent the Philippines in the Supermodel of the World pageant in New York and stands to win a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models.
The most important thing, especially in the Philippines, is for people to be aware of fashion dresses for models. Because so many people work abroad from the Philippines, they need to go to licensed employment agencies," she said.Ford spent nine months learning about the human trafficking situation worldwide and working with the non profit organization Free the Slaves. The group estimates that slavery is a $40 billion industry. Majority of the slaves work in the fields, brothels, mines and factories in India, Southeast Asia and Africa.According to a report by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, sexual exploitation accounted for 79 percent of human trafficking activities, followed by forced labor. Among the victims, 66 percent are women and the target age is 14 24 years old.
The High WASP woman loves nothing so dearly as her little black dress. Think about it. Although the industry tries, i.e. Boyfriend Jeans and White Shirts, only the little black dresses is spoken of in code. The LBD. "What are you wearing?" we ask. "My LBD," we answer.
Little black dresses are, by the laws of physics, appropriate. That's the point. For whatever reason, I do not know the science behind it, black reads like absence of color. That's right. You can wear black without making any kind of color statement at all. Like buying IBM, back in the day. Can't go wrong. Little black dresses absolve us of the responsibility of figuring out dress code. Of understanding our color profile. An enormous relief.
Life passion
Ironically, majority of the illegal traffickers are also women.
The victims are the same target age as models we scout," Ford said. And having worked with young people for so long, and watching them develop into great careers, it especially touched my heart thinking about people coming across borders, (being enslaved) and not being able to do anything about it."
Empowered by her new life passion, she started her mission close to home. Ford talked to key players in the fashion dresses industry in New York and encouraged them to come up with policies to ensure that their supplies are produced without slave labor. It’s called social auditing," Ford explained. If companies put enough pressure on the suppliers of raw materials, they will be forced to check that (slavery) doesn’t exist."
Ford said two of the companies who have adopted the practice are Gap and Nike.Katie's parents, Eileen and Jerry, founded Ford Models at Manhattan's stylish Upper East Side in 1946. For more than half a century, the modeling talent and management firm helped shape the image of fashion and beauty for American women, launching such faces as Lauren Hutton, Christie Brinkley, and Veronica Webb.
Considered as the most popular house of models in the world, Ford Models continues to reign on the catwalk with its roster of beauties. In 1980, it launched the Supermodel of the World pageant that opened the doors to ramp hopefuls from 55 countries, including local talents Melanie Marquez and Charo Ronquillo.Katie Ford has asked her models for modeling talent to record videos in various languages warning about human trafficking, which will be posted on the website freetheslaves.net. Ronquillo, who now works under the Ford agency based in New York, recorded a message in Filipino.
She believes individuals can help solve the problem by practicing vigilance about incidents of slavery in their community, and tipping the authorities or NGOs on these cases.Freedom in 25 years Ford hopes they can eradicate slavery in 25 years, which means the target is roughly more than a million slaves to be saved per year. It’s a huge number, but she believes the incidence of slavery is already starting to go down.
It’s starting to happen because it’s village by village now in India. These villages are watching and they are starting to take it on themselves. When they see their friends across the road get freed, then they want to be free," she said. Of course, everyone wants to be free. They didn’t even know they could be free. That’s the unbelievable part, they didn’t even know it."Ford said she has met a number of women who escaped prostitution and moved on to help set other slave workers free, just like them.
After the slaves gain freedom, the challenge is in rehabilitating them. This is not often successful, as Ford said some prostitutes become drug addicts during bondage by their slave owners. Others remain enslaved psychologically such that eventually, they revert to slavery again. It’s not an overnight thing because it’s a whole societal change, but it can be done," she said. I would say there are many people working hard to make it happen. I am just one little drop in the ocean. And it needs the entire ocean, it needs everybody doing what they can do to end it."

Top Actress Shirley MacLaine In ABC News
I was in Wausau earlier this week, at a Wisconsin Public Television event, and something compelled me to tell my Peter Jennings story. It may have been the wine, but I prefer to think it was the setting. How many top actress have stories connecting Peter Jennings to Wausau? Jennings, of course, eventually became one of the most distinguished television journalists of his time. But in 1965, he was just 26 years old, and newly hired to be the anchor of the nightly news on ABC-TV.Jennings started in February. Three months later, in May 1965, Wausau's second commercial television station, WAOW-TV, came on the air.
My dad, Tony Moe, was general manager of WKOW-TV in Madison. The ownership of WKOW, of which my dad had a small piece, put the Wausau station on the air. Both stations were ABC affiliates. And as my dad told me later, he was able to convince the ABC brass in New York to send their new star anchor to Wisconsin to make an appearance at the new station in Wausau.
That would never happen now, but it did in those days. In August 1961, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player came to Madison to play an exhibition match at Odana Hills. Can you imagine Tiger Woods and top actress doing that to day?Jennings flew into Madison. My dad picked him up at the airport and they began the drive north to Wausau on Highway 51. As my dad told me later, they developed car trouble about halfway there, and pulled to the shoulder.
There were no cell phones, of course. Soon Peter Jennings was standing with his thumb out, trying to hitch a ride. Before long a man pulled over. He was en route to Wausau and offered them a lift. The driver kept sneaking glances at Jennings and finally asked why he looked familiar. It was explained that Jennings anchored the ABC national news."That can't be it," the man said. "I watch Huntley-Brinkley."Chet Huntley and David Brinkley anchored a rival newscast on NBC.View the latest Shirley MacLaine photos. Large online gallery of Shirley MacLaine pics. Shirley is known to be one of the quirkiest Hollywood actresses, just like Mallika who loves drama.
My story got laughs in Wausau, and it took me back to those years when I never knew what star might be coming to Madison next. It was a fun way to grow up that I didn't really appreciate at the time.I've written in the past about how the entire "Mod Squad," a hit ABC show in the 1960s, came to Madison for a WKOW March of Dimes fundraiser. One of the show's stars, Michael Cole, was from Madison, but the whole crew came and we had dinner at Inn on the Park. modelcruz.com presents Shirley MacLaine which features on picture online gallery, latest news, filmography, discography and awards.
I remember going out to the station offices on Tokay Boulevard to meet a giant of a man named Ted Cassidy, who played a character named Lurch on the wildly popular ABC sitcom "The Addams Family." An actress named Yvonne Craig, who'd been cast as Batgirl on the ABC hit "Batman," came through too. So did Regis Philbin, in his early role as sidekick to comedian Joey Bishop on ABC's ill-fated late-night salvo against NBC's Johnny Carson. And Shirley MacLaine, whose hand I shook outside the station in early 1972. She was accompanying George McGovern, who was campaigning for president.
The "star" Shirley MacLaine who got the biggest reaction around Madison, though - at least in terms of being recognized - was Monty Hall, the host of a game show called "Let's Make a Deal." My mom and I picked him up at the airport and it seemed like everyone knew him. We had dinner that night at the Top Hat in Middleton and sat Hall with his back to the room. Still, word got out that he was there and people streamed up for autographs. (I note that Hall is a consultant on the new version of "Let's Make a Deal" that debuts Monday on CBS, replacing "Guiding Light.")
In Shirley MacLaine biography she was the daughter of a drama coach and former actress, and a professor of psychology and philosophy. Her brother, Warren Beatty, also grew up to be an important Hollywood figure.MacLaine took dance lessons from age two, performed publicly at age four and, at sixteen, made her Broadway debut as a chorus girl.In 1954, MacLaine was understudying actress Carol Haney in 'The Pajama Game', when Haney fractured her ankle.
Shirley MacLaine won a best actress Oscar for playing quirky matriarch Aurora Greenway in the tearjerker Terms of Endearment. MacLaine replaced her and was offered a movie contract by producer Hal Wallis. She made her film debut in Hitchcock’s black comedy, 'The Trouble With Harry', in 1955. nformation about Shirley MacLaine Biography, Filmography, bio, news, pictures, clips, video, history and other information.Later that year, she co-starred opposite Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in the comedy, 'Artists and Models'. Then there was the time in 1971 when I came home for lunch from Van Hise Junior High School and there was a man sitting in our living room chatting with my mom and dad. The man was part of a group that was going to buy both WKOW in Madison and WAOW in Wausau.

An Actress Evan Rachel Wood In Woody Allen
American actor Jason Alexander half-jokes that, early in the life of the 1990s sitcom Seinfeld, his portrayal of the hard-luck George Costanza transformed from a Woody Allen impersonation to a Larry David impersonation. He learned that aspects of the character's story had been lifted directly from the life of David, the show's co-creator. Thereafter George's nervy neurosis took on a belligerent, narcissistic dimension; a cheeky tribute to David.
David was kinder to himself when, later, he came to play himself in his other great sitcom, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Curb's Larry David character shares traits both with top actress and with Seinfeld's title character, Jerry, but he has redeeming qualities not possessed by either of those entirely self-serving personas. Usually (though not always) he means well. He attracts trouble through his ignorance of, or contempt for, the minutiae of social etiquette.
In Woody Allen's top actress and Whatever Works, the character chain closes on itself, as David portrays a more acerbic version of Allen's trademark neurotic heroes. He is Boris Yellnikoff, a lovable misanthrope, physicist and self-proclaimed genius (he was 'almost nominated' for a Nobel Prize). Following a divorce and a failed suicide, Boris walks with a perennial limp and a nasty attitude. He has no patience for ... well, for anyone. He earns a buck berating the child prodigies to whom he teaches chess. In short, he is like Curb's Larry on a really bad day.
Boris expounds a blackly comic, fatalistic philosophy, particularly in the realm of romantic love. When dimwitted runaway Melodie Evan Rachel Wood drifts into his gruff orbit, she provides him not so much with an object for affection, but a bottomless hole into which to pour his endless existential bile.
Melodie mistakes his obstinately bleak outlook for true genius and, wouldn't you know it, they fall for each other. Unlikely, sure, but what charm the film has comes from its contrasting Melodie's dumb cheer with Boris' OTT misery.Evan Rachel Wood image gallery and bio; starpulse.com: evan rachel wood. On the other hand, as a filmmaker, Allen is at his worst when he's being too clever. There is a recurring conceit in Whatever Works, that Boris, because of an expanded world view, is aware of something the other characters are not: that there is an audience watching their every move. His monologues to camera, directly addressing this 'audience' (to the bewilderment of his fellows), are initially humorous, but the joke wears thin.Pictures of Evan Rachel Wood photos, gossip and news, wallpapers and more.
That's especially true, given that one can't help but feel that Boris is a mouthpiece for Allen. Boris' views on the undefined nature of romance 'whatever works', as the title suggests is fine as far as it goes.Teen idol picture gallery of Evan Rachel Wood including entertainment news and reviews. But it seems a tad icky, and even takes on an air of personal apologetics, when you recall that Allen has been frowned upon for his affair with and subsequent marriage to the adopted daughter of his former lover, the actor Mia Farrow.
It is probably unfair to judge it on these criteria, but a film that is so blatantly self-aware, even self-indulgent, invites such associations; in this case, to its detriment.High quality Evan Rachel Wood photos featuring Victoria's Secret, XOXO, and lingerie pictures, Evan Rachel Wood's biography, interviews
In truth, that's a minor sticking point. There is fun to be had here. When Evan Rachel Wood's conservative religious mother (Clarkson) storms in from Mississippi and discovers the kind of man her daughter has shacked up with, she is outraged. Her loathing for Boris does not dissipate, even as city life and a burgeoning artistic career gradually expand her mind and her horizons. She makes an amusing foil to his unrelenting narcissism.
That said, Whatever Works demands a strong constitution. Those who find Allen's filmic idiosyncrasies unbearable will know already to steer clear. But David, too, can be an acquired taste, and if you've found yourself unable to sit through an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, then imagine enduring 88 minutes of his gravelly, spitting rants. The man is a comic genius, but it is a genius that polarises. So will this film.

Fashion Woman Lucy Pinder in Commercial Modeling
The beautiful Brit lived a relatively normal life, but when she was 19 years old, she and one of her friends were minding their own business on a beach in their hometown of Bournemouth when this beautiful fashion woman was spotted by a freelance photographer.
As Lucy recalls, "I don't know why we agreed, but he took some pictures of us on the beach, and sent them off to The Daily Star and The Sun. The Daily Star wanted some more commercial modeling photos and on the back of that I got a contract ."
One of the glamour models in commercial modeling world Lucy Pinder's face and curvy physique have been seen nearly everywhere since that fateful day in August 2003. Since then she has appeared on the covers of magazines like Loaded, Nuts, ZOO, Ice, and Fast Car, and she has appeared in prominent ads for PlayStation 2, the Yellow Pages and the National Lottery.
Lucy Pinder has also been photographed with a variety of naturally voluptuous glamour fashion woman models in commercial modeling including Sophie Howard, Maria Swan and Saskia Howard-Clarke.
While in the beginning of her modeling career, Lucy Pinder did not pose topless, but all that changed in April 2007 when she bared all for fashion woman Nuts magazine. She then became a Page Three girl for The Daily Star in July and August, and kept her shirt off in loaded magazine in August.
Lucy pinder in ralph Drawing even more attention to Lucy Pinder's all-natural assets, the November 2007 edition of the Australian magazine Ralph, declared that Lucy officially had the "Best Breasts in the World."

Commercial Models Fashion Cosmetic Beauty Trend - Adriana Lima
Victoria's Secret bares plans for stores in international airports as part of the company’s push to expand beyond North America.
Brazil, which has been fertile ground for Victoria’s Secret commercial models now has its first Victoria’s Secret store, but it isn’t the sprawling mecca to intimates that U.S. shoppers are accustomed to seeing.
Columbus, Ohio-based limited trend fashion commercial models brands Inc. said it opened four travel and tourism stores in the quarter ended August 1, 2009 in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aries, Argentina; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
The company said it will open a fifth shop in Barbados in September, with a Mexico City store also possible this year.
The early response to these stores has been phenomenal, and we believe that this is a clear indication of the strength of our trend fashion brands outside the United States, Limited chief administrative officer Martyn Redgrave said in an August 20 report to securities analysts.
We are very excited about the potential for future growth in these travel and tourism shops, he said.
The stores, ranging from 600 square feet to 1,000 square feet, are owned and operated by licensees, not by limited trend fashion brands. Some are in airports, but the company declined to specify which ones.
Redgrave said the stores carry with commercial models assortment of lingerie, accessories, beauty aids, gifts, and its Pink line with beauty cosmetic for younger women. The accessories selection includes travel items such as passport holders, luggage tags, sunglasses, and key rings.

The movie beauty admits the temperate of her body! soared when she put on the sexy beauty cosmetic, skin-tight costume.

Johansson, 24, recently revealed that she was desperate to get into shape for Iron Man 2 because she was worried about donning the beauty cosmetic and aforementioned Lycra outfit.

Film Actress Beckinsale
For a long time Hollywood Actress moguls were in awe of Kate Beckinsale’s beauty. She is improbably gorgeous. A vampiric Snow White; long-limbed, big-eyed perfection. And that was the problem. She attracted film actress roles that were all about the way she looked and not about who she is, in blockbusters like Pearl Harbor and Val Helsing, which had high box-office ratings but low critical appeal.
Beckinsale met Wiseman on the set of the vampire thriller Underworld, in which Sheen also appeared. The film was hugely successful, but its success almost condemned her. Beckinsale an actress hollywood is not the cliché that her shiny, rubber-bodied vamp look might suggest. She is quirky and funny. For a while this shocked hollywood producers. They thought they were hiring a distant beauty not someone who cracked filthy jokes and sizzled with warmth and approachability.
She did four non-blockbuster, high-integrity films last year, and was nominated for a Critics’ Choice award for her role in Nothing but the Truth, where she plays a journalist jailed film for not revealing her sources. She gained weight and bleached her luxuriant dark hair to play a white-trash girl in Winged Creatures, then plained herself out to play a US marshall in Whiteout. They are all expected to be released in the UK within the next six months, by which time Kate Beckinsale will have reinvented herself. Or perhaps she will simply be accepted for who she is. In her head she is not the hard-edged beauty.
She is not glamorous. She doesn’t love her body. She is insecure. As a teenager she suffered from anorexia. She is often self-conscious and uncomfortable, and seems a little kooky because that is just the other side of shy actress.

Zeenal says she has no inhibitions in wearing a bikini as some of the top Bollywood actresses have also done so. Zeenal also insists that Miss Bikini India is not a voyeuristic event but is rather a pageant for talent search.
Personally, Zeenal fashion woman sees it as a good opportunity and a stepping-stone to greater success.
Mumbai girl Natasha also thinks she is lucky to be selected.
Some of the best fashion bods in the country have signed up for the contest and I think I must have been very lucky to be chosen for the tour, Natasha is quoted as saying.

Teenage Actress Emmanuelle
After two years of pestering film actress as in celebrities, I still get the same questions at parties and at, well, more parties. Who is the nicest celebrity? Who is the biggest jerk? Who is the smartest, the stupidest?
Being a gentleman, I politely respond: Wait for my tell-all book. But I can say I have learned that British celebrities are the funniest, American stars the most cautious, and Canadian artists the happiest. Draw your own cultural conclusions.
Being a gentleman, I politely respond: Wait for my tell-all book. But I can say I have learned that British celebrities are the funniest, American stars the most cautious, and Canadian artists the happiest. Draw your own cultural conclusions.
And the happiest of said gleeful lot has to be Montreal-born actor Emmanuelle Chriqui a.k.a. Sloan McQuewick in the hit dramedy Entourage (now in its sixth season on HBO Canada).
Having worked her way up from sought-after child actor (with dozens of credits in such family-friendly material as Are You Afraid of the Dark ?, Snow Day and The Adventures of Sinbad ) to adult co-star (the Adam Sandler vehicle You Don't Mess with the Zohan , and the upcoming Saint John of Las Vegas , wherein she plays a disabled stripper no less), Chriqui's career trajectory gives her every reason to be sunny. She's too busy to be otherwise.
Another truism gleaned from this job: People who survive childhood teenage modeling fame to become successful adults do not always end up sleeping in oxygen tanks and becoming best friends with chimpanzees.

Fashion Woman Model Kim
Los Angeles, July 28: The grapevine has it that U.S. television actress fashion woman Kim Kardashian and New Orleans Saints standout, Reggie Bush, are heading for splitsville after more than two years of romance, according to several tabloid reports.
Kardashian, 28, and Bush, 24, who had been dating since April 2007, have mutually decided to go their separate ways, the reports have claimed.
Kardashian, Bush: It’s Over!
A report from RadarOnline claims that the reason behind their break up was that the two were finding themselves spending less and less time together because of their respective busy schedules. The report states that Bush is heading back to training camp in the Big Easy and Kardashian is about to start a new season of her reality show Keeping Up With fashion model Kardashians in Hollywood.

This is one case where a couple is breaking up and really do hope to remain friends, RadarOnline quoted a source as saying. They were very grown up about the decision to end the romance.
Us magazine reports that Kardashian has ended her long-term relationship with NFL star Bush. Their split came as a mutual decision, the report says. Nobody cheated. This is just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions, an insider told the Us.
Kush sad about their split
A source told E! that the couple is "very sad" about the break up. "They love each other a lot and hope someday they can make it work. But for now, he starts his football season this week and Kim starts filming season four of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and they just need this time apart."
A People report cited an anonymous source as saying that the brunette beauty Kardashian and Bush, also known as Hollywood power couple Kush, were the cutest couple," who loved each other so much, but the two hardly saw each other".
The couple’s break up reports come on the heels of rumors that the E! reality star and her NFL star beau have gotten engaged. However fashion model Kardashian had shot down all those rumors, saying, I am not engaged! The rumors about me picking out my ring already are also not true! I don’t know where all this comes from!!
Kardashian is the wealthy daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian and reality co-star Kris Jenner. She is a socialite, model, actress Hollywood , apparel retailer, and television personality who is perhaps best known for her social life, stolen sex tape, and her role on the E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Before dating football player Bush, Kardashian was married to music producer Damon Thomas. The two wed in 2000 and divorced in 2004. Then, she started dating R&B music artist Ray J, and they made a sex tape.

Evan Rachel Wood on Dating Older Guys and Gay Guys
When it comes to romantic relationships Evan Rachel Wood seems to opt for older guys - Marilyn Manson, Mickey Rourke and now she’s moved on to actor Shane West. So what is it about her elders that this 21-year-old finds so appealing?
"That's just what works for me. I usually just have more in common with them for some reason," Wood recently told Tarts. "I guess because I've just always been around older people"
But age aside, if he was straight and she was single Miss Wood admitted she would totally go for "Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert.
"I probably couldn’t help myself, that guyliner is so amazing," she gushed. "But he’s got an incredible voice, talent is very sexy. I love that he’s so androgynous, he just doesn’t care, has fun and wears whatever he wants."
However Wood too doesn’t seem to stress over the conceptions people have of her and she made a conscious career decision not to become another Hollywood stereotype.
"I wasn't too rebellious; I was a pretty good kid. My parents were very strict so it wasn't until I turned 18 that I went crazy," she explained. "I tried so hard to fit a certain mold that certain people in my life wanted me to be. I thought that making other people happy was enough to make me happy, but I just wasn't comfortable so now I follow my instinct. You only live once."
Wood stars in Woody Allen’s new dark comedy "Whatever Works" and funnily enough, playing stupid was quite the challenge for the North Carolina native.
"I hate to say it but it was very hard to play dumb, but it was fun," she added. "Playing such an over the top, kind of kooky, naive, ditsy southern girl was kind of the complete opposite of me so it was difficult."

See beautyful Priyanka
She was the most beautiful woman of the world in the year 2000 as she won the Miss World title. The gorgeously beautiful Priyanka Chopra brought this proud moment to India almost nine years back.
Sensibly beautiful Priyanka started her career in acting right after winning the title. Tamil movie ‘Thamizhan’ (2002) was her first film as an actress. She got her big break in Bollywood in 2002 in ‘Andaaz’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
She won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for this film. After that, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Aitraaz (2004), Krrish (2006) and Don (2006) were the big hits of her. And after that even before someone could understand, Priyanka became the celebrity face of new age Bollywood.
Her few film in 2005 and 2008 went flop but that couldn’t stop her from becoming the top most actress in Bollywood. Her fashion and Dostana have been the recent box-office hits. She even won the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Fashion in 2009.
We’ll be watching her in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next ‘KAMINEY’ opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Perry Quit Court
Katy Perry has finally given up her case against Aussie fashion designer Katie Perry, after she tried to force her out of business...and thank god! We just couldn't bare the thought of her forcing this little old' Aussie battler out of business!
And it's fair to say, Katy made her move in the nick of time! The withdrawal came just one hour before the case was to be heard in a Canberra court.
"We did it! The Aussie underdog has had a victory. Thank you everyone who supported me xxx," Katie tweeted last night.
The style guru was suddenly in the midst of her own international media frenzy singer Katy's legal eagles asked her to pull out of her application for a trademark to use her name for her label.
The designer claims she'd never heard of the singer when she applied and was definitely not trying to cash in on her newly found fame.
"I hadn't even heard of her," Katie said.
Katie went so far as to appeal to the Katy the singer over Youtube, because she had no other way of contacting her. She believes the popstar did watch it.

She may have been "homely" as a teen, but Adams has grown to be a beautiful woman.
Amy Adams never guessed she would be a hugely successful film and TV actress with two Oscar nominations under her belt.
And based on her down-to-earth demeanor, one would never peg her as one of Hollywood’s hottest starlets.
The actress looks back at her teenage years in the August issue of Allure, saying, "I was homely [as a teenager], painfully small, short, with too much blue eye shadow because I thought, it matches my eyes, so why not? Trying desperately to fit in."
And yet here she is at age 34, posing topless in a photo spread for the fashion magazine.
But Adams proves she’s not just a pretty face.
Her latest film, "Julie & Julia," co-starring Meryl Streep as iconic chef Julia Child, shows off a different side of the redhead – her cooking skills.
Adams says she learned how to poach an egg – "a talent that comes in handy" – as well as master more complex recipes from the late Child’s repertoire.
In the flick, Adams plays Julie Powell, a real-life, 30-something writer who penned a memoir about spending a year attempting all of Child’s recipes from her famous cookbook, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking."
The actress identified with the role of Powell and the changes she went through when she reached her 30s.
"Thirty was a big deal for me," Adams says. "It was the age where I re-evaluated everything – how I approached life and how I thought about myself."
"When I look at my 20s, or when I look at any period in my life, I think about how much time I've wasted trying to find the right man," the actress reveals. "But the truth is, once you have a great man in your life, it allows you – or at least for me – to look at yourself and grow as an individual. And gosh, if I had known I was going to find this, my 20s would have been completely different."
And who is this lucky guy?
It’s her fiancé, actor Darren Le Gallo, who has been incredibly supportive of Adams as her career has skyrocketed.
He patiently awaits a break in her schedule so the pair can set a wedding date.
"I think he was patient for the first nine months, but now that we have been engaged for a year, he’s sort of, you know, ‘This is going to happen, right?’" Adams said. "He understands I’m busy, but he’s ready. He’s much more ready many resources for kids and stuff than I am."
At least Le Gallo doesn’t have to worry about her being a bridezilla.
"I've been really busy, and I feel like a horrible fiancée that I haven't gotten swept up in the whole idea of a wedding," Adams said. "But I just haven't."
